The Independent Public Schools (IPS) Alliance is a large, diverse and thriving group of Queensland state schools committed to working together to improve outcomes for children.
With 250 Independent Public Schools in Queensland, including 37 rural and remote schools, there is great diversity and strength across our schools.
More than 220,000 students, around 41% of all state school students, attend an IPS in Queensland. There are more than 13,000 teachers across Queensland's 250 Independent Public Schools.
